During the one-month trip they try to find the "common denominator" in each other: they fall in love, snoop around, and mess about - they are all laughably frail and cruel. As it turns out they have not only brought their own past with them but also each other's respective pasts; thus a murder committed a long time ago sets off a manhunt...

The "fugitives" would like to escape from each other but they have no place to run.
