Laló is an exceptionally intelligent, open-minded person with great communication skills, who reflects upon the significant moments of his life while sharing his life story in general. From his narrative it is possible to envision a lost world that had a multifarious identity, and accepted others with the co-existence of minorities at its centre. Laló ponders, reconsiders, and evaluates but is rarely judgemental. He takes an analytical approach in examining the events of the first 16 years of his life - Marosvásárhely, the Holocaust, his homecoming - both individually and in context, while his personal stories provide a unique experience in film.
