It's a sunny spring day and Zoltán's suspicious behaviour attracts the attention of a detective engaged in a murder case. The detective does not yet know why he starts to purse the man but following his instincts he decides to follow things through.

The policeman's suspicions are confirmed when the fleeing man runs into a secondary school where he pulls out his gun and takes the only person in the otherwise empty building hostage: a schoolgirl cleaning for some pocket money. However, it turns out that the suspect is a petty criminal on the run charged with sexually abusing a 16 year-old girl, who was actually his own girlfriend so no violence took place. But taking a hostage gets Zoltán into far more trouble because the policeman can't let him go, even if his crime proves to be insignificant. But sooner or later somebody has to let somebody go...
