A film about the fresco uncovered in the János Vitéz room of the Royal Palace of Esztergom that some experts believe to be one of Botticelli's works.

In the course of the thorough, detailed fact-finding carried out the main question that has arose was: did Sandro Boticelli, a young student of Fra Filippo Lippi's of Florence visit the court of King Matthias at the invitation of János Vitéz? Of course, our film cannot definitively answer that question, but we can nevertheless present scholars, historians and art historians from all over the world who deal with the cultural life of Hungary in the second half of the 15th century and with the part it played in Europe, and more particularly with the activities of János Vitéz and Botticelli.
